So today was my baby's second birthday! we didn't do anything big just a little cook out. She had a little cake which we didn't finish even though it was tiny. She got some presents from her aunt, a friend, her grandma, and us. Anyway I'll post some pictures whenever I figure out why my camera won't load pictures onto this computer.

Long Time No See!

Well I haven't posted anything in a long time because well first my computer broke down a few months ago so we barely got it fixed about 2 weeks ago. Then since my computer was in my room I didn't want to use it in there ((i'm in my living all day)) so I haven't been on the computer, but my beautiful sweet boyfriend bought me a laptop just yesterday so now I can use it here in my living room. Anyways I haven't made anything either because well I'm just lazy now. But I don't know I guess that's it for now.

I'm starting to wonder...

Does anybody read this blog? Sometimes when i'm writing up a post or taking pictures of my projects I think "Why am I taking all these pictures? I don't even know if anybody reads my stuff." I mean you know I feel all bad because i'm here writing stuff taking pictures and nobody even leaves a comment or something. Or maybe it's just me. Maybe i'm just lonely. Does anybody want to be my friend? I don't know i'm just gonna stop typing stupid stuff already maybe that's why nobody reads my blog hehe j/k. But seriously if you are reading this leave a comment, let your presence be known and make me feel better!

Happy Mother's Day!

Purse Charm Necklace

My mom came down for the weekend and she brought some earrings and stuff to sell. So Dani was in my sisters room and she went and took a bracelet and brought it to me and I was like "Hey this is cool!" so I was gonna keep it but I put it on and then I tried taking it off and it ripped! The bracelet just had three beads two round beads and one purse charm the rest was just black tubing. So I took those beads and made a necklace. Here it is. Whole thing.

Little Coin Purse

Ok so I like to save lots of quarters because we don't have a dryer so we have to go dry to a Laundromat and I needed a place to hold all my quarters so I made a coin pouch.I saw this tutorial on craftster for a fastener-free coin pouch and I made one. The tutorial says to make it with a thick fabric so the quarters don't fall out but I didn't have any so I put a snap on it. Here it is.

Nestlace!

Well I just finished this necklace a few hours ago and I wanted to post it, so here it is. We went to Wal-Mart earlier and I bought the chain and I had the rest of the stuff which was the clasp, wire, and the beads. I did another one a while back (here) but it was to big so I made a smaller one. I know the clasp and wire don't match the chain but that's all I had (someday I'll have enough money to work with silver). Umm... I think that's it.

Today is my 18th birthday...

Kanzashi Flower Hairclip

I made this last night ( started at night finished in the morning) when Oscar was at work because I was really bored. I read this tutorial long time ago but didn't really get it so I just did it however I thought was the right way. But then a while back I saw this one, and it looks sort of how I made mine so I guess you could say that's how I did mine since mine has round petals instead of pointy. Anyways here it is. Hope you like it.

It's About Time I Post This

Well long time ago when I did that first swap at crafster somebody else wanted to swap my Rainbow earrings but she asked me to make them silver because that was the only type of jewelry she could use. So I went to Wal-Mart bought the findings and I made them but she never messaged me back. A few weeks back I got them and took them apart and redid them but in all silver (just the hooks were silver in the other ones). Here's what I ended up with. I love them!

My First Dress!

This is my second project without a pattern and my first time shirring. I think it came out alright except for the fact that I need to put sleeves on it because Dani moves around a lot so it slips down and her nips show but the rest came out good. I saw this and I wanted one for Dani so I went to Wal-Mart bought the elastic thread and came home and made it (I already had the fabric). I was just gonna leave the top part shirred but I made it a little bit too long so I did both sides, I think it came out better like that anyway. She's also wearing some new shoes her grandma bought her last night. Anyhoo here it is.

Well we didn't do anything today because it was cold so we just stayed inside and did nothing. I made the eggs and everything and we didn't get to break them on anyone's head. But here's some pictures anyways.

Dani's First Boo Boo

Ok so earlier we were in the living room and Dani was running around like crazy as always and she fell and got a boo boo. Why? Because the tile in our living room is broken. I mean we have a carpet there but one of the tiles was sticking out and she tripped and fell on it. So she got up slowly, looked at me, started crying and came running to me and I picked her up and I rubbed her knee and It felt wet and Oscar on the other couch was like "Babe! She's bleeding" and I look at my hand and I had blood all over it! So I told Oscar "Go bring me a band-aid!" and she was still crying but after a while she was like nothing happenned making a big mess for mommy to pick up.

Project Dani's Tutu

I titled this post like that because Oscar was like are you gonna start Project
Dani's tutu and I was like "Hey that's sounds cool!" so yeah anyway. I had been wanting to buy Dani a tutu but $14 is too much for me, yup I am cheap. So two days ago when we were at Wal-Mart I told Oscar "What if I make it for her?" so we went to the fabrics and I bought some tulle and then I was looking for the stretchy fabric and I couldn't find any and then I found it so I came home and I went on to craftster to look for a tutu tutorial and I found this one so that's the one I used and then I made the pattern for the bottom suit (I don't know what it's called) but I made it to short so I'll have to make another one, but later because this fabric was HARD to cut. Anyways here it is.

::Button Necklace::

I just finished this necklace right now so I'm gonna post it. The last time my mom came she bought me these buttons at the flea market since she saw the button bouquet I made. They remind me of sailorish colors so I made this. I've been wanting to make it since my mom left but I didn't have time ( I don't know why if I don't do anything ) anyways first I washed the buttons cause they were sticky no Idea why and I made this. I used beading thread since that was the only way I came up with. Here it is.

Picture Frame

So I had this super ugly picture frame on my wall since forever but lately Oscar has been outside with his friends trying to fix their cars so I saw it there and then came the inspiration. All we had was black and white paint so that's all I used. I have been working on this damn thing the past three days all the coats of white paint I had to put on it. But I finally finished it! I stencilled this design on two corners and voila! new picture frame! the word energy didn't come out to good so i'll probably repaint over it. So anyways here it is.
