Canvas Tote

Here's the canvas tote I bought a while back at Wal-Mart it's still not finished but I don't know what else to do to it. I wanted to stencil something on it but I don't know what. I don't know if I should put something on the back of it cause it's a little bit plain I forgot to take a picture but it's just the ribbon on and the studs. Anyways here it is.

Fabric

So my mom came down this weekend she got here on Thursday and she just left a while ago. So everytime my mom comes me and my sister always go out together so on Saturday we got the kids ready and the strollers and we headed downtown which is really close to where we live so we went walking. we wanted to go look at some clothes so we stopped there first and we bought some shirts and then we stopped by this store where they sell jewelry, bags, shoes, and in the back they have fabric. The last time I went with Oscar and everything was really expensive but this time everything was like for a dollar something cause they were trying to get rid of some fabric so my sister found this really beautiful fabric for 99 cents a yard she was gonna buy it for her but she let me take it so I bought it, it was only 2 yards so I took it. But the problem is I don't know what to do with it I was thinking maybe a dress like this one or this one I don't know it's that really stretchy fabric I don't know what it's called. And guess what. Oscar finally bought me a new digi cam!! yay!! I finally retired the old one that didn't work. I love this one. So just for the fun of it I'll show you a picture of Dani with some butterfly antennaes that my sister made last halloween to go with her butterfly outfit. Isn't she so cute.

Two new Necklaces

So I finally finished the necklaces from the turtle and the heart I made a while back I finally bought the clasps last night. They were super super easy to make I just had to put the clasp on the leather cord and voila! Necklaces. By the way does anybody know how to straighten the cords out? you know from when you buy them and they come all folded up. Ah well anyways here they are in all there glory.

Dragons or Flies

Neither or both? Well I made this Dragonfly yesterday but I think it kind of looks gay. I think it's the colors that don't match at all but that's the only thing I had. Oscar said it looked alright but I don't know. What do you think? I guess I'll just keep it like that so here it is.

Butterlies Butterflies Beautiful Butterflies

Ok just one. I made this pretty little butterfly just right now i don't know why I made it I was just bored and I've been wanting to make one for a while already so I found this tutorial and I made one it was super easy to make, the hardest part was to dig out the seed beads from all the other pastel beads I have. I think it kind of looks like a dragonfly from the wings the bottom ones came out to small. Next time I think I'm going to make a dragonfly with the same method just make the tail a little bit longer. I don't even know what I'm going to do with it like with everything else I make when I'm bored. I'm probably going to make it into a necklace and give it to my butterfly obsessed sister. I think that's all for now because Dani here is bugging me already.

New Earrings

These are some new earrings I made last night. They were a pain in the butt to make. Stupid crimp beads are hard to squash with round nose pliers (I left the flat nose ones in my bros. car and they mysteriously disappeared) and crimping pliers are too expensive for me ($11 yup I'm cheap). Ok I'll stop talking already here they are. The picture's kind of small but you can click on it to see it full size.





It's the first time I tried making this type of earrings I saw some here and I loved them, of course mine don't look as pretty as the inspiration ones but I still like them. Mine are kind of crooked so I don't know what I'm gonna do with them.

Pillow!

This is a Happy/Sad face pillow I made for Daniela. I had already made one when I was in school but we had to hand sew it (no sewing machine) it came apart :( So I made another one! I made it like two days ago but my camera didn't have batteries and I just bought them yesterday....Here it is.

It came out smaller than the first one I made but The biggest circle I had to trace was a plate so it is kind of small I still like it and Dani does too so that's what matters. And instead of sewing it and then turning it inside out I just sewed around the outside. The face is made with felt. Here's the old one.

Happy side (it looks like that because I used the stuffing for the new one) can you see the hole on top.

Sad side see the crappy materials they gave us at school you can't even see the eyes because they're from the same white fabric (they ran out of felt) You can kind of see the hole on the bottom on this pic.

New Bracelet ::UPDATE::

Here's a Bracelet I made yesterday night when I was bored I like it but it fits me a little bit loose I was thinking of putting a cross charm on it but I don't know. What do you think? I wanted to make a pink one but I ran out of the end caps. I also wanted to make some earrings but I'll have to wait to buy some more of the caps.

So I put the cross on the bracelet last night. I think it looks better like that, it was a little bit to plain without it. Well I like it and my bf said it looks nice too (but that's what he says about everything I make)

Craftster's Block

Okay so we went to Wal-Mart today and I bought one of those plain canvas totes they have in the crafting section. But the problem is that I don't know how to decorate it? I already put some silver studs on the top part and I bought some ribbon but I don't know where to put it? I was thinking of putting some buttons on one of the bottom corners but I don't know. I'll make sure to post pictures when I finish.

Another New Item

So I've been beading like crazy the past days. Here's a beaded heart I made last night I got the tute from the same place as the turtle. It is two layers of beads on top of each other.



I still don't know what to do with it either.
